Here's an apron I recently finished for my grandmother. I dolled miss "Janie" up with vintage- like stitches and trim. Its waist tie attatches to the bodice with a button hole- an antique touch!

"Janie"

This lovely lady boasts simplicity with a touch of class. She is a v-necked, one-piece cover up with a large, sectioned front pocket, waste band and ties. She can be created in a miriad of combinations depending upon your taste or kitchen decor. If ruffles and lace are not your forte, "Janie: could be your gal!!

"Francie"
She is a half apron adorned with
various trims of your choosing
ie. velvet ribbon, ric rac,
vintage buttons, etc. To
transport mixing spoons you will
find a convenient front pocket.
Francie can be made with your
own color combinations.

"Petunia"

Pretty Petunia is a bibbed beauty with layers of ruffles sure to don its wearer with feminity. Three coordinating fabrics of your choice make up this lovely. Sample is adorned with a homemade yo-yo, however you can choose a bow, homemade or silk flower, or any other embelishment you desire. This could be adapted easily to the smaller "Petunias" in your kitchen!

"Abigail"

Abby was my inspiration- my first creation! She is a full skirted apron bedazzled with yards of coordinating ribbon and laces of your choosing. Photo shows Abby with the finishing touch of a homemade rose made from fashionable trim - compliments of my mother! Abigail costs a little more because of the extra fabric she needs, but well worth it as you welcome your guests to a decadent "amis déjeuner".

From the time I was very young, I always remember seeing my mother in her apron. It has always, to me, been a simple reminder of the good days at home. Whether to bake fresh snickerdoodle cookies or hosting a family get- together; teaching a child to paint or just a tastely displayed token of good fashion; aprons are an ingredient to any home.
"Heavens to Betsy", I have begun to sew aprons! I invite you to partake of my hand sewing creations! Pick from aprons I've already made, or request an apron just for you! I'd like to know your favorite color and style.
